COVID-19 Statement

With COVID-19 on everyone's mind, we have built a statement regarding our position and how it affects RD Landscape operations.

Based on direction from The National Association of Landscapers, we will continue to provide service during this stay at home order. Please read the statement by clicking here. We have made significant modifications to our operations based on the direction from the CDC and National Health Organization. Please review the changes below:

1) Health and Safety is our #1 Priority.  Therefore, service to our customers is optional and at the discretion of the customer.  We will contact you if service is scheduled for your property. You have the option to cancel or postpone service to a later date. If by chance you have self quarantined, please let us know and we will reschedule the visit when you are all-clear.

2) We have made working optional for our staff.  The physical and mental health of our staff and their families is of concern to us. If any staff member does not feel safe, they have the option of not working. If they feel at all sick, they are instructed not to come to work and we have arranged a way for them to get compensated. This could impact service schedules for our customers as staffing levels will vary.

3) We have imposed a 1 truck 1 driver rule. Crews will not be riding in trucks together. This may add to the number of vehicles on or near your property, though we believe it is the right approach to avoid direct contact between crew members. Truck cabins are too small to maintain a minimum of 6 feet between people.

4) We will supply our crew with protective gear.  While on your property all crew members will have latex or work gloves on at all times. In addition, they all will be given a bandana scarf to wear while working with other crew members. All crew members will keep a 6-foot distance from each other as they perform their duties.

5) Safe cleaning practices will be followed. All drivers and crew will wipe down all the surfaces of trucks and equipment at the end of every day.

6) All customers are asked to interact directly with our office staff - not the crew.  Please do not interact with the crews on the property. If there is a concern or question,  please call the office at 908-289-4222 and we will communicate with the crew. If something is urgent, please wave down the site supervisor who has been instructed to speak with you from a safe distance of no less than 6 feet.

Please be patient with us as we navigate this uncharted territory.  We're all in this together and we all will get through it together.  Be well!
